There are six campgrounds near Calgary. - Calgary West RV Park ( http://www.calgarycampground.com/ ) is inside the city limits on the west side of the city, near Stoney Trail and Hwy 1 (Trans-Canada Hwy). They operate a shuttle service to & from the Stampede grounds.

Mountain View Farm Campground is not a destination campground. However, with its location adjacent to Highway #1, just east of Calgary, it is very good as an overnight travel stop or a location for use while needing to be in Calgary and area. The sites are gravel, level and well laid out. The Park has numerous long pull thrus.
